Are you an experienced financial services lawyer looking for something new?
In this non-fee earning role, you’ll shape how legal knowledge is created, curated and delivered within an Australian leading Financial Services and Funds practice.
Some detail on the role
You will play a central role in ensuring lawyers have access to high-quality, up-to-date and practical knowledge resources in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. This will include:
Maintaining and developing Financial Services and Funds precedents and knowledge systems as a trusted resource for lawyers
Monitoring and interpreting regulatory developments (including managed investment schemes, AFSL regime, superannuation, AML and banking regulation)
Translating legal and regulatory change into practical, user-friendly materials
Leading and delivering knowledge management projects end-to-end
Collaborating with Business Development and Innovation teams on client-facing materials and thought leadership
Driving engagement across partners and lawyers to contribute to knowledge initiatives
Supporting adoption of AI tools and workflows, including training and development of practical tools
Working closely with knowledge colleagues to ensure consistency across practice groups
The role is well suited for a lawyer with:
Substantial post-admission experience in funds, superannuation and/or financial services law
Strong understanding of Australian financial services regulation and reform landscape
Experience drafting, curating or maintaining precedents and legal know-how
Interest in legal technology, including document systems and AI-enabled tools
I’d love to speak with senior lawyers with financial services experience, looking to step into an amazing team with loads of resources and great leadership.
