An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Real Estate Senior Associate to join the Sydney office of a leading global law firm renowned for advising on complex cross-border transactions.
This highly regarded team advises clients across the full property lifecycle, with particular strength in major infrastructure, renewable energy and corporate transactions. Working alongside respected partners, you'll gain exposure to sophisticated matters that combine commercial real estate with large-scale project development and international investment.
The Role
Your work will include:
Advising on property and land tenure issues for major development and infrastructure projects
Supporting high-value M&A, restructuring and insolvency transactions involving real estate assets
Conducting and managing legal due diligence
Drafting and negotiating property agreements, leases and acquisition documentation
Advising clients on legislative and regulatory compliance
Managing settlement, registration and conveyancing requirements across Australian jurisdictions
Working closely with clients, government agencies, financiers and external advisers
Collaborating with international legal teams on cross-border transactions
Providing commercially focused advice throughout complex transactions
About You
The successful candidate will have:
4 - 6 years' PQE
Strong commercial real estate experience from a leading or mid-tier firm
Experience advising on sophisticated property transactions
Excellent drafting and analytical skills
Strong commercial judgement and client management capability
Experience using PEXA (highly regarded)
Outstanding organisational and communication skills
A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for international work
